Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone, inaugurated and dedicated to the nation multiple development projects worth over 7,200 crore rupees at Motihari in East Champaran district in Bihar.
The development projects are related to Rail, Road, Rural Development, Fisheries, Electronics and Information Technology sectors.
The Prime Minister also flagged off four new Amrit Bharat trains via video conferencing from Rajendra Nagar, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur and Motihari railway stations, which will connect important cities of Bihar to other parts.
Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, Chirag Paswan, Nityanand Rai, Satish Chandra Dubey, Ramnath Thakur, Rajbhushan Choudhary Nishad, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were also present on the occasion.
Several state ministers, MPs and MLAs also attended the meeting.
