Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that on the occasion of Bhagwan Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Diwas tomorrow, the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirth in Gujarat will be inaugurated. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that the museum showcases exemplary Jain culture and the contribution of Jainism to humankind. He noted that the seven wings of this museum are dedicated to India’s glorious history and culture. Mr Modi added that numerous rare relics, Jain artefacts and traditional heritage collections are also being displayed at the museum.
He will be on a day-long visit to Gujarat tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth over 19,806 crore rupees at Vav-Tharad tomorrow. Shri Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stone of development works worth 10,921 crores rupees of the Ministry of Power, Road, Transport & Highways and Railways, Government of India and 8,886 crores rupees of Urban Development, Water Resources, Water Supply, Roads & Buildings, GIDC, Health & Family Welfare, Tourism & Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation 3 projects worth Rs 3,664 crore under the Ministry of Power at the world’s largest hybrid renewable energy park at Khavda in Kutch district. In addition, the foundation stone of Idar-Badoli bypass four-lane road and Dholavira-Mauana-Wowa-Santalpur section will be laid at a cost of Rs 750 crore.
Shri Modi will also inaugurate Packages 1 to 4 of the Ahmedabad-Dholera, built at a cost of Rs 5,105 crore. He will dedicate to the nation projects worth ₹891 crores of the Ministry of Railways. In addition, Shri Modi will also flag off the Khedbrahma-Himmatnagar-Asarwa train from Khedbrahma.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), Shri Modi will provide housing to citizens in 38,949 houses in 34 districts of Gujarat, which will realize the dream of own house for the citizens of rural areas of the state.
