Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Mata Tripura Sundari temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas worshipped by Hindus at Tripura’s Udaipur, later today. The Prime Minister will arrive in Agartala in the afternoon after his visit from Arunachal Pradesh, and will then go to Gomati district headquarters at Udaipur, to inaugurate the redeveloped Tripura Sundari temple under the PRASHAD scheme. The Prime Minister will also offer a puja at the temple. According to the state government official, there will be no public address by the Prime Minister as per the schedule available as of now. Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangements have been made in Agartala as well as in the temple town of Udaipur for the smooth visit of Prime Minister Modi.
