Ambassador of India to Israel J. P. Singh has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel will be a historic one. Talking to Akashvani News in Jerusalem today, Mr Singh said, besides holding talks with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, Mr Modi will meet the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog and will address the Parliament of Israel, Knesset. He said when Prime Minister Modi visited Israel in 2017, he, along with Mr Netanyahu, had laid the foundation for strengthening the bilateral ties. Mr Singh said now the time has come to build on that strategic partnership and taking it to a new phase. He said several agreements will be signed after the talks between both prime ministers.

The Indian envoy said the visit is important in the context that the Israeli ecosystem and the Indian ecosystem complement each other. He said the talks will focus on innovation, science and technology, artificial intelligence, cyber security, quantum, and other areas.
