Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the Union Cabinet, which has approved the widening and strengthening of NH-326 in Odish,a is an important project. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that it will make travel faster and improve connectivity across Gajapati, Rayagada and Koraput. He said, the project will create employment opportunities, boost tourism and industry, as well as accelerate inclusive development in tribal areas. The Prime Minister also said that the 6-lane Nashik-Solapur-Akkalkot greenfield corridor approved by the Union Cabinet in Maharashtra is aligned with PM GatiShakti. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that this transformative project will cut travel time significantly, strengthen west-to-east connectivity, boost logistics and generate large-scale employment thereby powering economic growth.
