Paithani sarees are a distinguished and traditional form of attire originating from the town of Paithan in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district. Known for their characteristic square motifs and intricate peacock designs on the pallu (decorative end), Paithanis are easily recognizable and considered among the most exquisite and expensive sarees in India.
