PM Modi, Home Minister and Agriculture Minister Pays Tribute to Chandrashekhar Azad on Martyrdom Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tribute to freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad on his martyrdom day. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that the life of Chandrashekhar Azad teaches that the resolve to stand firm against injustice is true valour. He noted that Chandrashekhar Azad sacrificed everything to free the nation from the shackles of slavery and will always be remembered for his supreme sacrifice. The Prime Minister added that the saga of the freedom fighter’s sacrifice for the motherland will continue to inspire every generation of the nation.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad on his death anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that Chandrashekhar Azad fought a valiant battle against the British Raj and continued to chant Vande Mataram till his last breath. He noted that from the Kakori Train Action to the formation of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association, every moment of his life was devoted to the cause of the country’s independence. Recalling Azad’s saga of sacrifice, the Home Minister said that it continues to fill every Indian with the spirit of patriotism and offered his tribute to the revolutionary and invincible warrior.

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad on his martyrdom day today. In a social media post, Mr Chouhan described Chandrashekhar Azad as a great revolutionary and brave martyr, and offered his humble tribute. He said that the fiery thoughts and inspiring life of the freedom fighter will continue to motivate every individual to move forward and serve the nation and society. The Minister added that the nation will forever remain indebted to the supreme sacrifice and unwavering dedication of her immortal son.
