Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inspired the countrymen to make every house a symbol of Swadeshi and decorate every shop with Swadeshi goods. In a series of social media posts, Mr Shah said, Mr Modi has given a double bonanza to the poor and neo middle class with Next-Gen GST. He said, NEXT Gen GST reform is going to play a big role in achieving the resolve of a self-reliant India.
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw said, Bharat enters a new era of tax reforms with Next Gen GST reforms. He said, GST Bachat Utsav from the first day of Navratri is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s gift to 140 crore Indians. Mr Vaishnaw said, with these reforms and Swadeshi Sankalp, the country moves faster towards a Viksit Bharat.
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said, NextGen GST will reduce the prices of every household item, directly benefiting 1.4 billion families. He said, these GST reforms will not only empower every segment of society, including the poor, youth, farmers, women, MSMEs, and others, but will also facilitate India’s path to self-reliance.
