In today’s episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the success of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in the North-East, with special focus on Tripura. 

Speaking on the development, Debabrata Sukla Das, Director General of the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA), expressed pride and happiness over the Prime Minister’s mention. He said that the recognition of solar energy as an effective alternative power source and its impact on improving the lives of tribal communities is a matter of great satisfaction.

 

He further added that the acknowledgement in Mann Ki Baat is a testament to the relentless efforts of TREDA in promoting renewable energy solutions across the State.
