Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his greetings to all personnel of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on the occasion of its Raising Day today. In a social media post, Prime Minister said that the unwavering dedication of the SSB reflects the highest traditions of service and sacrifice.

 

He further said that the force’s strong sense of duty remains a vital pillar of the nation’s security. Highlighting the role of SSB personnel in safeguarding the country under challenging terrains and demanding operational conditions, Mr Modi stated that the force stands ever vigilant in the service of the nation.
