Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of Telangana poet and lyricist Ande Sri. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said, the passing of Ande Sri leaves a deep void in the country’s cultural and intellectual landscape.

He noted that Ande Sri’s thoughts reflected the soul of Telangana and that he was a prolific poet and thinker who gave voice to the people’s struggles, aspirations, and indomitable spirit.

Mr Modi added that Ande Sri’s words had the power to stir hearts, unite voices, and capture the collective pulse of society. The Prime Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members and admirers of Ande Sri.
