Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the demise of renowned actor and singer Prashant Tamang. In a condolence letter addressed to Mr. Tamang’s wife, Mrs. Martha Aley Tamang, the Prime Minister said that Prashant Tamang carved a distinct niche for himself in the world of entertainment. Describing him as a symbol of determination and immense talent, Mr. Modi noted that Mr. Tamang’s life and achievements continue to inspire countless individuals who see their own hopes reflected in his journey.

The Prime Minister added that Prashant Tamang’s life story would motivate the youth to believe in their dreams and work relentlessly to achieve them. Mr. Modi also prayed that Mr. Tamang’s family members and his innumerable admirers be granted the strength and fortitude to bear this grievous loss. Tamang, 43 years old, who was from Darjeeling in West Bengal, died of a cardiac arrest at his house in Delhi on Sunday.
