President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed grief at the loss of lives due to a bus mishap in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. They also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in their posts on social media. 

 

 

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi announced that an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given 50 thousand rupees.

 

Maharashtra Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu have also expressed their shock and sorrow over the tragic event.
