PM Modi expresses gratitude to people of Haryana for making BJP victorious in local body elections

 
 
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a major victory today in the municipal body elections held in Haryana on May 10. BJP candidates for the mayoral post emerged victorious in all three municipal corporations of Ambala, Sonipat, and Panchkula.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed gratitude to people of Haryana for BJP’s victory in municipal elections. In a social media post, Mr Modi said, this victory has once again made it clear that the people have placed their unwavering faith in the policies of development and good governance being implemented by the BJP-NDA government. He said, this triumph also stands as a symbol of the trust the people of Haryana repose in the state’s Double Engine government. Mr Modi congratulated all those party workers who played a pivotal role in securing this victory for the BJP.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini described the results of the municipal body elections as a victory for the public’s trust and for people-centric policies, achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 
 In Sonipat, the BJP’s Rajiv Jain is set to become the Mayor once again. In the Panchkula Municipal Corporation, the BJP’s Shyam Lal Bansal, and in the Ambala Municipal Corporation, the BJP’s Akshita Saini registered victory in the mayoral elections. BJP candidates also secured victories for the post of President in the Sampla Municipality, Dharuhera Municipality, and Rewari Municipal Council, while an independent candidate emerged victorious in the Uklana Municipality. BJP candidates also achieved significant success in the elections held for the post of councillor.
