He added that they agreed to stay in touch regarding efforts towards peace and stability.

They also reviewed progress on key initiatives aimed at strengthening India-Sri Lanka energy cooperation and enhancing regional security. Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi said that both India and Sri Lanka reaffirmed their commitment to work closely together in addressing shared challenges.
