Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted people on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. In a social media post, Mr Modi hoped that the blessings of Bhagwan Vitthal always remain upon everyone and inspire them to build a society filled with joy and prosperity. He also hoped that this occasion would inspire devotion, humility, compassion, and motivation to serve the poorest of the poor with diligence.
