Press Information Bureau, PIB has said that some propaganda accounts are circulating an old image on social media, falsely claiming it to be linked with the recent blast in Delhi. The Fact Check Unit of PIB clarified that the image is originally from a 2024 blast in Lebanon and has no connection to the incident in Delhi. It also urged people to verify such claims through credible and official sources before sharing.
