The government has debunked videos circulating on social media claiming that the Indian LCA Tejas Mk1 suffered an oil leakage during the Dubai Air Show. The fact-check unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) informed that the claim is fake. The Unit also informed that the videos show routine, intentional draining of condensed water from the aircraft, which is a standard procedure for aircraft operating in humid conditions, like those in Dubai.

PIB further said that false narrative is being deliberately pushed by some accounts to undermine the fighter’s proven technical reliability with baseless propaganda. The government has urged the citizens to verify information before sharing them.
