In Pakistan, six people were killed, and more than twelve were injured after a massive fire erupted at a shopping mall in Karachi yesterday. Health officials said at least four bodies were brought to the Civil Hospital Trauma Centre, while two others were taken to the Burns Ward. Rescue officials said efforts to contain the fire were still underway. They added that extremely high temperatures inside the building have made internal access impossible, hampering rescue and search operations. Fire brigade officials also expressed concern that some people may still be trapped inside the mall.
