In Pakistan, 45 people have lost their lives and 105 sustained injuries in rain-related incidents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province over the past 10 days. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) today said that among the total 45 fatalities, 23 are children, 17 men and 5 women. The PDMA report stated that heavy rainfall led to roof and wall collapses in multiple districts, affecting around 442 houses across more than two dozen districts. Meanwhile, the PDMA Director General has warned that a fresh spell of rain is expected across various parts of the province until 9th of April.
