The Election Commission has said that over seven crore and eight lakh enumeration forms have been collected in Bihar so far under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative. The Commission in a statement said that with just eight days left and so far 89.7 per cent of the existing electors have given their Enumeration Form to be included in the draft Electoral-Roll to be published on the 1st of next month. It added that any elector can also check the status of their Enumeration Form either on the ECINet App or on its website. Special camps are also being set up in this regard in all the 5 thousand 683 wards of all 261 Urban Local Bodies of Bihar. The Election Commission said, 1.59 per cent of electors have been found deceased, 2.2 per cent permanently shifted, and 4.53 per cent of electors were not found at their addresses. It added that people who have temporarily migrated outside Bihar can also fill the Enumeration form in online mode using their mobile phones through the ECINet App or its website.
