The Additional Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, Mr Arindam Niyogi, has said that more than 31 lakhs people may be called for hearing in the claims and objection phase of the SIR process in West Bengal. More than 58 lakhs enumeration forms have been identified as uncollectable in the state. Special Roll Observers are touring the states for cross cross-check of submitted Enumeration Forms and other related SIR processes in the state.
