The Israeli military today said its air force struck infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon, while continuing to support ground operations in southern Lebanon. The statement came as Iran pressed for a halt to Israeli strikes on Hezbollah during talks between Iran and the US in Pakistan.
Earlier, Lebanon’s state-run news agency reported that three people were killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon, while no further strikes were reported in the afternoon hours.
Meanwhile, sirens continued to sound in Israeli border communities, warning of drone and rocket attacks launched from Lebanon throughout the day.
