Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat today said that this is the time for the rise of India’s cultural creative economy, known as the orange economy. He noted that the orange economy is supported by three pillars – content, creativity and culture. Mr Shekhawat said this while addressing the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit – WAVES in Mumbai.
The minister said that the world observes the diversity and ancientness of Indian culture with awe, but in truth, it is India’s unique identity and distinction. He also mentioned that the summit will host a unique cultural presentation by the regional centres of the Ministry of Culture, involving 700 artists on the 3rd day of the event.
