Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today paid floral tribute to the former Lok Sabha Speaker, Manohar Joshi, on his birth anniversary in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan. On this occasion, books based on the life of Manohar Joshi were displayed by the Parliament Library.
Manohar Joshi served as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2002 to 2004 and as Minister of Heavy Industries from 1999 to 2002. Before this, Mr Joshi held the position of 12th Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 1995 to 1999.
