The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), a government Public Sector Undertaking has paid a dividend of over 43 crore rupees to the central government for the last financial year. CMD of NSIC, Dr Subhransu Sekhar Acharya presented the dividend cheque to the Union MSME Minister, Jitan Ram Manjhi.
The MSME Ministry said that NSIC has generated a revenue of three thousand 431 crore rupees and Profit after Tax of over one hundred 46 crore rupees. Mr Manjhi applauded NSIC’s efforts in empowering MSMEs through integrated support services and expressed confidence in NSIC’s continued role in fostering enterprise creation and skill development.
