Andhra Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Minister N. Manohar said there is no shortage of LPG in the state, urging people not to panic over supply concerns. He said adequate stocks are available for both domestic and commercial consumers across the state.
The Minister reviewed the LPG supply situation through a teleconference with senior officials on Monday amid global tensions and speculation about shortages. He directed district Joint Collectors to intensify vigilance and prevent LPG diversion to the black market. Special monitoring teams will oversee supply chains and act against illegal price hikes or rumours.
Mr. Manohar stated that the government is closely monitoring LPG supplies to ensure households do not face any inconvenience. He said that, if necessary, priority will be given to domestic consumption over commercial usage to maintain uninterrupted availability.
