Haryana School Education Board Chairman Dr. Pawan Kumar said that, as per the orders of the Haryana Government, no school can force parents to buy expensive books from private publishers.

He added that special flying squads will soon be formed by the Board to inspect the textbooks being used in schools across the state. He said, schools found defying these instructions during the investigation may face fines and cancellation of affiliation.
