Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has hailed the Union Budget terming it as a positive and commendable budget. Mr Kumar said the budget is progressive and futuristic. He said the budget has several announcements and sops for Bihar which will accelerate the growth of the state. He added that the proposed Makhana Board, announcements of greenfield airports are pro-Bihar initiatives. He also praised the decision to provide financial help for Western Kosi Canal.
