The Indo-Zimbabwean pair secured their spot with a thrilling victory over Japan’s Kaito Uesugi and Shintaro Mochizuki, winning 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 in the quarterfinals. Earlier, Poonacha and Lock kicked off their Delhi Open Men’s doubles campaign with a hard-fought three-set win over Czech duo Marek Gengel and Dalibor Svrcina 2-6, 7-6 (5), 10-6, on Wednesday.
