In Nigeria, 77 people were killed and many injured in northern Nigeria when a petrol tanker truck overturned, spilling fuel that exploded. The tanker overturned and spilled its contents in the Suleja area of North Central Niger state, yesterday. It exploded moments after people rushed to collect fuel, killing dozens and leaving 25 others injured, including rescuers. Those injured are being treated in nearby hospitals.
