The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has reduced the application fee for entrance tests across various categories. The Ministry of Textiles informed that for the batch of 2026-27, the application fee for the Open, OBC-NCL and Open-EWS categories has been reduced from three thousand rupees to two thousand rupees. Similarly, the application fee for SC, ST and PwD candidates has been reduced from fifteen hundred rupees to five hundred rupees. The form-filling process for the entrance exam has commenced and will culminate on 6th January 2026. The examination will be conducted on 8th February 2026 in over 100 cities across the country.
