The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted raids in four different places in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh to investigate the supply of goods to the Maoists. The raids were carried out in the Bhairamgarh, Awapalli and Tarrem areas. The NIA has taken this action with the aim of curbing the influence and resources of Maoist groups active in Chhattisgarh and neighbouring states.
