NESTS to celebrate 8th Foundation Day tomorrow at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi

The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) will celebrate its 8th Foundation Day tomorrow at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram will attend the event as the Chief Guest. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs said that NESTS continues to strengthen educational opportunities for tribal communities across the country.

It added that the organisation has been mandated to establish, manage and support Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), undertaking initiatives aimed at promoting quality and holistic education for tribal students. Since its inception, NESTS has played a key role in expanding access to quality education through the EMRS network. Notable progress has been made in improving infrastructure, enhancing academic support systems and creating new opportunities for tribal youth.
