Nepal’s national flag carrier airline acknowledged that the recently published map contained serious cartographic inaccuracies related to international borders and clarified that the content did not represent the official position of either the Government of Nepal or the airline.
According to the airline, the controversial post has been removed immediately, and an internal review process has been initiated to prevent similar mistakes in the future. The airline is conducting an internal review to ensure that such materials are prepared in accordance with the highest standards of accuracy. The airline also emphasised the importance it places on Nepal’s relations with neighbouring and friendly countries and expressed deep regret if the post caused any inconvenience or offence.
