A meeting of the Nepali Congress central working committee is scheduled for coming Friday on November 28. Office-bearers of the central working committee, members, invitee members and presidents of the province working committee have been requested for their presence in the meeting.

 

A special assembly took place of the representatives of the general convention of the Nepali Congress, who are in favour of a special general convention. During the assembly organised at the City Hall, 54 per cent general convention representatives involved in the signature campaign attended the assembly, demanding special general convention.

 

Fifty-four per cent general convention representatives of the NC had registered an application with the signatures at the party headquarters on October 15 demanding a special general convention.

 

NC leaders reiterated that there is no alternative to special general convention. Few leaders showed anguish towards leaders who don’t want special convention, stressing that those, who have been using power since decades, have no rights to say the signatures of party warriors are fake, warning them to find out the fake signatures.
