The Supreme Court of Nepal resumed registration of writ petitions from Tuesday for the first time after arson of September 9 when SC building was torched. On the first day, more than seven writ petitions against dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) were received.
All the activities except registration of writ petition on habeas corpus, urgent petition and hearing were suspended after the Supreme Court was completely damaged during the Gen-Z protest. After the apex court building was burnt down, it has been functioning from a temporary tent set up in the court premises.
