The interim government of Nepal led by Prime minister Sushila Karki is making efforts to materialize the historic responsibility of holding the March 5 election. It has held talks with political parties, Gen Zs, civil society and media, making its stand clear on the March 5 election.
On the line, Prime Minister Sushila Karki and former President Ram Baran Yadav held a meeting yesterday in PM residence in Baluwatar. They discussed the preparation of coming elections and the political environment.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Karki said that the interim government is willing to hand over the power to the people-elected government by maintaining good governance in the country in accordance with the aspirations of Gen-Z protest.
Former President Yadav emphasized that Political parties should go for election as it’s the best way for a country in democratic system.
PM Karki held meetings with heads of both Houses of Federal Parliament and chief Ministers of seven provinces on Monday at her Baluwatar residence.
