In Ladakh, under the vision of the PM Shri Scheme and the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, schools in even the remotest frontier areas are witnessing remarkable transformation in the field of education and cultural learning.
One such example is PM Shri Government High School Thasgam in Drass, which organised an Ethnic Food Festival today with great enthusiasm and community participation.
The event was graced by the Councillor of Lower Constituency, Abdul Wahid, as the Chief Guest, along with officials from the Indian Army as Special Guests. Students showcased the rich cultural diversity of Ladakh through Shina cuisines, traditional dance performances, and an ethnic attire ramp walk reflecting the spirit of local heritage.
This event stands as a symbol of how the PM Shri Scheme and NEP 2020 are nurturing not only academic excellence but also cultural pride and community participation in every corner of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
