Babulal Soren, NDA candidate and son of former Chief Minister Champai Soren today filed his nomination for the upcoming Ghatshila bye-poll to be held on November 11. The Ghatshila assembly seat got vacant after the death of former Education Minister Ramdas Soren. The counting of votes will be done on November 14.

Meanwhile, JMM candidate Somesh Chandra Soren, son of deceased Education Minister Ramdas Soren also filed his nomination today for the Ghatsila assembly bye-election. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Congress state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh were present during his nomination. The nomination also served as a political show of strength, demonstrating the INDIA alliance’s unity.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren will also address a public meeting in Dahigoda and list the achievements of the government in favour of election campaign for Somesh Chandra Soren.
