A Naxalite has been killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh. The encounter took place in the Kistaram area of ​​Sukma district. On the intelligence inputs about the presence of Maoists in the area, a joint team of District Reserve Guard, Special Task Force and CRPF’s KoBRA battalion was dispatched for the operation. Since last evening, there has been intermittent exchange of fire between security forces and Naxalites. The body of one Naxalite has been recovered so far during the search of the spot.
