NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte will meet U.S. President Donald Trump and senior officials during a four-day visit to Washington beginning on the 8th of this month. Rutte is scheduled to hold talks on 8th April with Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth. He will also address an event hosted by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. The visit comes amid tensions within NATO after Trump criticised European allies and raised questions about the U.S. commitment to the alliance.
