National Conference on Land Administration and Disaster Management Concludes in Gandhinagar

The two-day National Conference on Land Administration and Disaster Management concluded today at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, with a shared commitment to building a modern, efficient, technology-driven, and citizen-centric land governance system.
 
Addressing the valedictory session, Kunal Satyarthi, Joint Secretary of the Department of Land Resources, emphasized the importance of sharing best revenue practices among states. He also underlined the need to integrate modern technology into revenue systems to enhance efficiency and transparency. During the conference, the Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG) offered to provide training and technological support to the revenue department.
 
 
Organised by the Department of Land Resources under the Ministry of Rural Development, the conference featured thematic panel discussions on several key issues-including land records and reforms, revenue court re-engineering, resurvey initiatives, disaster management, and human resource planning in land administration. A wide range of stakeholders, including revenue officers from various states, actively participated in the conference.
