National Biodiversity Authority Launches 3-Month Internship Programme for Graduates and Postgraduates

The National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) launched a short-term Internship Programme of up to 3 months for students who are undergoing graduation or post-graduation programmes.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change said that the move is aimed at offering hands-on and project-based learning to students through active engagement with NBA programmes. It added that the programme is designed to build capacity, deepen environmental awareness, and significantly enhance employment opportunities for young people in biodiversity conservation. The Ministry further said that the programme will also offer employment opportunities in natural resources management sectors and will develop the students as biodiversity ambassadors.
