Nation Stands United After Operation Sindoor; Govt Leaders & Officials Praise Armed Forces

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. L. Murugan, has lauded the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces and their decisive action against terrorism under Operation Sindoor.

 

 

 

In a social media post, Dr. L. Murugan said that the Armed Forces have taken decisive action under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to avenge the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, aimed at shattering the democratic spirit of India.

 

He added that with Operation Sindoor, justice was served for the innocent lives lost and their surviving families. The Minister said, their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and their memory will continue to inspire India to resolve against terrorism.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has said that the whole of Punjab is standing with the Indian Army to encourage our soldiers.

 

Sharing the sentiments of the State in solidarity with the action taken by the Army against the terrorists in Operation Sindoor, last night, in a social media message, Mann said that the whole country is united in this fight against terrorism. We are proud of our Indian Army and our brave soldiers.

 

 

The AAP State President and Cabinet Minister, Aman Arora, taking to the party’s X handle, has said that the 3 crore Punjabis and the state government are ready to deal with any eventuality. He said a befitting reply will be given to Pakistan for any aggression against the country.

Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar and Leader of the Opposition, Partap Singh Bajwa, have also supported and saluted the Indian Armed Forces for an appropriate action against forces inimical to the Nation’s safety and security.

Former Army Commander, Lieutenant General Surendra Nath (Retired) today said the Operation Sidoor is well thought over operation with precision and involving many agencies and departments. He said it will be very difficult for Pakistan to retaliate as its army or civilian bases have not been targeted. However, he said India should be prepared for any eventuality.

 

Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangasamy has lauded the Indian Army for its successful execution of “Operation Sindoor,” which targeted terrorist camps operating in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation was carried out as a strong retaliatory step against the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

 

In a statement issued today, the Chief Minister congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Army for the decisive response to terrorism. He affirmed that the Puducherry Government stands firmly with the Centre in all actions taken to combat terrorism and protect the nation’s security.

In Bihar, the Indian Army’s resolute action against terrorists under Operation Sindoor has garnered unanimous support from all corners. People from all walks of life, political parties and organisations have expressed wholehearted support and saluted the courageous action.

 

 

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the whole country feels proud of the capabilities of the Indian army. He said Indians have full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said it is the revenge of the Armed Forces for the innocent tourists who were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has commended the Indian Armed Forces for their successful strikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Mr Naidu said that the Indian Army has demonstrated unmatched bravery and precision in swiftly avenging the Pahalgam terror attack and has demonstrated that India will defend itself with iron will.

 

Expressing full support for the Central Government’s actions, Mr Naidu noted on the social media platform X that under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the world has witnessed India’s strength and determination. He underscored the nation’s collective resolve against terrorism and support for the Armed Forces by saying that India stands united against terror and firmly in support of the Indian Armed Forces.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that Operation Sindoor has given justice to the sisters who were affected during the terror attack, and the entire country is feeling satisfied right now. She also saluted the armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking this decision.

 

 

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called for an Emergency Meeting with all officials concerned later this morning at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Hyderabad to review all security preparations post Operation Sindoor.

 

 

The security measures to safeguard all major installations and key strategic Central, defence and state government locations will be reviewed. The Chief Minister has announced that the state government will provide total support and cooperation to and work along with the National Armed Forces.

 

 

Earlier, on a social media message, Mr Reddy said as an Indian citizen first, he is standing strongly with our armed forces. He said the strikes against terror factories in Pakistan & PoK made him and the people of Telangana proud. He called upon everyone to make this a moment for national solidarity and unity, and speak in one voice.

 

 

The Chief Minister said he will personally review the situation on war-footing and ensure security, safety and ensure total vigilance in Hyderabad, and all cities, towns and villages across Telangana.

 

 

Chief Minister of Sikkim Mr. Prem Singh Tamang shared his reaction about “Operation Sindoor” this morning. He said on social media, Operation Sindoor stands as a powerful symbol of India’s resolve against terror. He said, on behalf of the people of Sikkim, he salutes brave soldiers who delivered swift justice for the Pahalgam terror attack. Mr Tamang said, their courage protects country’s sovereignty and upholds the dignity of every Indian mother who wears sindoor with pride and freedom. He wrote Jai Hind at the end of the Bulletin.
