President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today remembered Bharat Ratna, renowned scientist and former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary.

In a social media message, Vice President Radhakrishnan called Dr Kalam as a visionary scientist, an inspiring leader, and a true patriot. He added that his humility, compassion, and constant interaction with students made him a beloved figure across generations. The Vice President further added that through his words and actions, Dr Kalam motivated young minds to dream big and work hard for the nation.

His tireless efforts in defence, science, and youth empowerment strengthened India’s path towards self-reliance. Mr Radhakrishnan highlighted that Dr Kalam’s vision continues to inspire every Indian to innovate, serve, and lead with integrity.

Prime Minister Modi said that Dr Kalam was as a visionary who ignited young minds and inspired the nation to dream big. Mr Modi added that his life reminds the people that humility and hard work are vital for success. He expressed hope to continue to build the India he envisioned – an India that is strong, self-reliant and compassionate.
