Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Finance Minister for releasing 1,01,603 crore rupees as an advance instalment of tax devolution to state governments. In a post on social media platform X, Mr Rio stated that this timely support will significantly aid development, welfare, and capital expenditure in Nagaland and across the nation. Under this additional tax devolution, the government has allocated 578 crore rupees to Nagaland.
