The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has said that the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 has received an encouraging response from youth across the country. Nearly 47 thousand essay submissions have been made in the second stage of the initiative. The competition aims to encourage young citizens to engage with the Union Budget and contribute ideas for the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
The Ministry said the winners will get an opportunity to present their Budget ideas to Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the 15th of this month. In the first stage, a nationwide online quiz saw participation from over 12 lakh youth across all States and Union Territories, with Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal recording the highest participation.
