Muslims across Telangana are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan fasting, with devotion and fervour. The month-long fasting, charity, and spiritual reflection culminate in Eid-ul-Fitr, symbolising the revelation of the Quran.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended greetings on the occasion. The Governor’s message highlighted the Quran’s teachings guiding society towards righteousness, compassion, and humanity. The Chief Minister noted that Ramadan symbolises harmony and secularism.
Former Chief Minister and BRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao also wished Muslims on the festival.
Eid celebrations are underway at various locations, including Hyderabad’s Mir Alam Eidgah, Mecca Masjid, Masab Tank Hockey Ground, and Secunderabad’s Balam Rai, along with district-level celebrations across the state.
