In Jammu & Kashmir, the strategic Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) was closed today morning due to a mudslide triggered by rainy weather. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the vehicular traffic on the national highway has been temporarily suspended following a mudslide at Chamba Seri in Ramban district. The road has been blocked in both directions after debris fell on the stretch, halting movement. The road clearance operations are underway. Commuters are advised to check road status updates on the Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police Twitter handle and Facebook page.
